I am a wife to a wonderful and supportive husband and mother of two amazing little kids. We are constantly on the go with their activities. We love watching them grow, change, and see their personalities emerge!
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with two minors in Middle Level and Secondary Education at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND., and a Master of Science in Education at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, WI. I am currently a doctoral student in Doctoral of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at Capella University, Minneapolis, MN.
I taught K-12 mathematics for traditional high schools, project-based high schools, and alternative high schools from 2009 to 2015. After earning my master's degree, I taught college mathematics for two different universities from 2011 to present.
I became an instructional designer in 2015, where I created course content for major universities. Here, I learned how to manage a course portfolio, monitor student success, and create interactive activities. I have gained experience using many different learning management systems and instructional design tools. Creating content for learners is my passion. Being able to bring content to life and finding ways to get learners to want more content is what I strive to create!
