I earned my Bachelor of Science in Allied Health from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee (1984) and my Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling and Executive Leadership from Liberty University (2014). My doctorate was completed at Grand Canyon University, and I am a Doctor of Business Administration and Organizational Leadership with a focus on cross-cultural competency and conflict management (2020).

I founded Fighters for Hope, a non-profit addressing mental health stigma and suicide ideation across many at-risk populations, and we provide channels for PTSD, STI, and many other trauma and conflict-related domains. As the "Positive Social Change Agent Pro", I have been a community advocate and tireless warrior for disadvantaged populations in the education and mental health space!

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with two minors in Middle Level and Secondary Education at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND., and a Master of Science in Education at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, WI. I am currently a doctoral student in Doctoral of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at Capella University, Minneapolis, MN.
I taught K-12 mathematics for traditional high schools, project-based high schools, and alternative high schools from 2009 to 2015. After earning my master's degree, I taught college mathematics for two different universities from 2011 to present.
I became an instructional designer in 2015, where I created course content for major universities. Here, I learned how to manage a course portfolio, monitor student success, and create interactive activities. I have gained experience using many different learning management systems and instructional design tools. Creating content for learners is my passion. Being able to bring content to life and finding ways to3 Column get learners to want more content is what I strive to create!
